Privacy notice template
This fictional demonstration site does not represent a real business. Before launch, replace this page with a privacy notice reviewed for the agent’s actual business, location, analytics, advertising, and lead-handling practices.
Inquiry information
Lead forms may collect contact and property-search information so the configured real estate professional can respond to a request. Do not publish the site until the final form service, data retention practices, and contact information are documented here.
Website activity and buyer intent
This demo may use first-party website activity data to understand how visitors use the site and to help the real estate professional respond more effectively after a visitor submits an inquiry. This activity can include searches, selected filters, builders, communities and floorplans viewed, requests for information, incentive interactions, and return visits.
Before a visitor identifies themselves, this activity is associated with an anonymous browser identifier. If the visitor later submits a form, the prior activity from that browser may be associated with the resulting lead so the real estate professional can better understand the visitor’s stated home-search interests. The site does not use this feature to identify an anonymous visitor by name before the visitor voluntarily provides contact information.
Buyer accounts
If you choose to create or access a buyer account, the site uses your email address to verify your identity with a short-lived sign-in code. Your account can store saved homes, comparisons, saved-search preferences and alert settings so they remain available across devices. Buyer-account activity may be associated with your lead record after you voluntarily identify yourself.
Buyer sessions use a secure first-party cookie. Login codes expire after a short period and cannot be reused.
A production website should also disclose any cookies or local browser storage used for analytics, provide any legally required privacy choices, and document applicable retention and deletion practices.
